Frequently asked questions

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password and enter the email address on your account. We’ll send you a reset link. The link expires after one hour for security.

How do I cancel my subscription?

  • iPhone / iPad: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, tap InspectrPlus, then Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → InspectrPlus → Cancel subscription.

Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds for App Store subscriptions are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds for Google Play subscriptions are handled by Google at Google Play Help. For invoices you collected from clients through Stripe, contact us at billing@inspectrplus.app.

How do I delete my account?

Two ways:

  1. In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  2. On the web: inspectrplus.app/delete-account.

Why does the app ask for camera / photo / location access?

Each permission is used only for the feature it powers:

  • Camera — capture inspection photos.
  • Photo Library — attach existing photos to a report and save reports back to your library.
  • Location — tag inspections to a property and pre-fill addresses.
  • Microphone & Speech — voice dictation of inspection notes.
  • Calendar — add inspection appointments to your device calendar.
  • Face ID — quick, secure sign-in.

You can change or revoke any permission at any time in your device settings.

Where is my data stored?

Account data and inspection content are stored on our servers (powered by Supabase, hosted in the United States) and on your device. Payment data is handled directly by Apple, Google, and Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. See the Privacy Policy for details.

I think I found a bug. What should I include?

When emailing us, please include:

  • Your device model and OS version (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18.3).
  • The InspectrPlus app version (Settings → About).
  • What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot or screen recording if possible.
